Growth Marketing Manager

Managed marketing campaign creation, oversight, and reporting. Led go-to-market strategies and developed demand generation programs. Accountable for $1.4MM marketing budget, managing five marketing agencies, and coordinating with compliance officers for regulation.

Marketing Manager

  • Incorporated email nurture campaigns utilizing marketing content and artificial intelligence (AI) integration. These efforts educated high-ticket clients. As a result, lead quality increased with an average open rate of 40% (post iOS 14).
  • Built LinkedIn advertising campaigns that utilized aggregator data. These campaigns performed Account Based Marketing initiatives. They led to a 400% return on investment (ROI) from marketing impact.
  • Led cross-department collaboration to develop consumer financial product go-to-market strategy. Project included product development, deposit operations, regulatory compliance, and Customer Service directors. Utilized traditional marketing outlets like billboards, local promotions, and affiliate programs. Initial target was to raise $80MM in deposits in three years; the campaign raised $112MM in deposits in 4 months.
  • Executed Display, Search, YouTube, LinkedIn, Microsoft, SEO, and email campaigns. This includes building landing pages, HubSpot workflows, and creating ad copy. Directed content marketing campaigns and attended marketing events to represent the Working Capital product.

Big Leap | June 2022 – December 2022

Digital marketing agency servicing multiple business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) industries. Services included search engine optimization (SEO), advertising, and content management. $14MM in revenue with 51 staff members.

Client Success Executive

  • Oversaw execution of marketing strategy for enterprise clients by coordinating SEO, paid advertising, social media marketing, and content marketing teams.
  • Held monthly book value of $85K in client contract value. Delivered a 95% retention rate for responsible contracts. Managed the 3rd highest book value of the client success team.
  • Integrated executive strategic goals through several different team projects. This included incorporating new paid advertising products. The projects also involved off-boarding social media campaigns. Additionally, we developed cross-channel strategies for enterprise clients.

Incline Marketing | May 2020 – May 2022

Startup marketing agency built around local digital advertising, SEO, and content strategies. Began with 3 employees, built to 21.

SEO Department Manager

  • Developed Search Engine Operations team processes, quality assurance, and project management protocols. Oversaw daily operations for delivering client deliverables. Managed SEO team, Content Creation team, as well as Social Media team totaling 40% of the agency’s staff.
  • Coordinated between in-office and remote employees. Delivered client results for industries such as finance, consumer services, e-commerce, and software as a service (Saas) business. Reached campaign deadlines with 95% accuracy.
  • I directed the SEO team and content team, the largest teams at the company. This leadership ensured that over 89+ SEO clients were taken care of. Used empathy and accountability to improve team performance.

 Local Service Ad Manager

  • Developed product offering for Local Service Ads. Developed Local Ad department and processes. Created off-line conversion tracking techniques which led to precise reporting. Resulted in 3x profit for more than 40 client accounts.
  • Managed 80 advertising clients delivering results with 30% ROI. Most clients (small businesses) grew dramatically from revenue generated from campaigns.
  • Built innovative processes for managing ad campaigns while utilizing machine learning to improve audience segmentation. This allowed product offering expansion by 71%.  Ad spend management included collaborating with client CEO’s or Head of Sales leading to coordinated efforts with their fulfillment teams.
  • Provided analytical feedback on all Google ad campaigns. Developed analytical reporting for clients, including YOY results, campaign approach, and audience targeting. Developed digital campaign strategies and directly communicated with clients leading to improved relationships.

  •   Managed several Google Ad campaigns, including search ads, display ads, YouTube ads, and more. Using PPC skills, including Google Analytics and Tag Manager. Analyzed data in the ad accounts regularly to optimize account performance.

Marketing Team Lead for SoapBox Agency | September 2020 – January 2021

  • Created Google ad service product offering through BYU-Idaho student-led creative agency providing marketing and creative services for small business clients. Collaborated with Video Creative team to deliver content briefs, strategy decks, and creative direction to serviced clients.
  • Performed social media audits. Found insight and data into audience segments. Analyzed engagement rates and user following insights. This analysis directed the client’s brand strategy.

Production Manager for Student Support | May 2019 – May 2020

  • Created several student events by collaborating with administrative officers and event marketing vendors. Managed talent selection as well as facility needs to run three events per academic semester. Developed promotional materials to engage over 3K attendees hosted during the events.
  • Increased communication skills through event marketing. Marketed for a student conference and delivered shows for over 3,000 students. This successfully led to higher student retention.

  • Used sales tactics like increasing basket size and upscaling by utilizing multiple products that would compliment each other. Worked at the downtown Salt Lake City location. This role provided the opportunity to assist visitors from out-of-state. They needed extra assistance with local directions, food suggestions, and accommodations.
