Bankers are needed and are amazing. Marketers are needed and can do great work. The two of these usually don’t work together and usually don’t help each other. What a loss of opportunity for growth.
At TAB Bank, I have contributed to the marketing team that has won awards, helped the bank reach all-time high growth periods, as well as develop the brand voice.
A big part of this, is understanding how to display financial products. The deck below outlines my strategy on how to do this for consumer deposit accounts.
Financial marketing doesn’t need to be boring. It doesn’t need to be false. You can still do great marketing work while being banking compliant.
Product marketing needs to understand the right creative strategy and brand approach if they hope to grow the product, especially in finance.
